Embalaje
Packing is selected according to the chain series, bending radius, ordered length, accessories and shipment quantity. Depending on the model and length, the drag chain may be arranged in a controlled coil or secured in straight sections.
Each package should be labelled with the series, internal dimensions, bending radius, length and quantity. End connectors or other accessories, when ordered, should be separated or fixed to prevent them from damaging the chain links during transit.
Internal cushioning and reinforced cartons may be used to prevent crushing, uncontrolled movement and deformation. Large-size or bulk orders may require pallet or wooden-case support.
Almacenamiento
Store the cable chains in a clean, dry and ventilated indoor area. Keep them away from prolonged direct sunlight, excessive heat, corrosive chemicals and heavy objects.
Chains should be stored without forcing them below their specified bending radius. Large chains should be supported evenly to prevent local deformation.
Keep the original model labels and packaging in place until installation to avoid mixing different internal sizes or bending radii.
Manejo
Do not drag unpacked chains across rough floors or sharp metal edges. Avoid dropping, twisting or forcing the chain sideways.
Long or large models should be supported at several points during movement rather than lifted from one end. Openable covers should remain closed during warehouse handling unless cables are being installed.
Do not lift the complete assembly by a single crossbar, end connector or unsupported link.
Transporte
The chain package should be secured to prevent compression, impact and uncontrolled shifting during transport. Coiled products must retain a radius that does not deform the links.
